Online Michigan CPL Class
To get a CPL in Michigan, you must take a class which includes classroom time and at least 3 hours of range time. This course is ONLY for the classroom portion, and will be conducted online. Students are expected to be present and watching throughout the course. A computer with internet access is required.
At the end of the class, the student needs to sign up for 3 hours of range time with a local instructor who will then issue their CPL training certificate. We currently offer the Range Course in Metro-Detroit and in the Grand Rapids area.

(To receive a training certificate to apply for a Michigan CPL, students must also attend a 3+ hour range course. The range course is NOT included in the cost of this class, and dates / locations will be posted after COVID-19. You must do both the online (this course) and range instruction (Dates Here) to receive a certificate.) You may take the range course before the virtual class, or the virtual class first. Order doesn’t matter.

We need to make sure you actually attend, so we require cameras for this class. We understand that there might be some times throughout the class where it would be prudent to have your camera off and that’s fine, as long as these are limited.

This is the class required to apply for a
